Collage of Native Species projects in Utah

Many of the projects in our Mitigation and Conservation Plan benefit native species directly and indirectly. Native species are included in the Sensitive Species Inventory listed on the Division of Wildlife Service’s Utah Conservation Data Center web page. In addition, the Mitigation Commission funds projects specifically for native species, including: sage grouse, spotted frogs and native fish. The Mitigation Commission is part of the June Sucker Recovery Team and has signed conservation agreements for spotted frog, least chub, Bonneville cutthroat trout and Colorado River cutthroat trout.
